Developmental Work and research activity

Jo’s research interests focus primarily around the area of Special and Inclusive Education. This stems from her previous positions as a SENCO and teacher within an EBD setting.

Currently she is looking at the issues that exist between the SEN Code of Practice in theory and practice and the conflicting tensions and expectations faced by SENCOs when working with the revised Code of Practice.
