From cutting-edge teacher training courses and undergraduate courses covering the education sector to research degrees and continuing professional development (CPD) for all education professionals.

Research at the School of Education

The School of Education has a vibrant research culture. The majority of academic staff in the school take part in research through six research clusters and the annual School Research Conference. The new Centre for Developmental and Applied Research in Education (CeDARE) was launched in 2009 and undertakes projects of national significance for a wide variety of organisations. CeDARE’s research activities include evaluation and impact studies, longitudinal research, consultancy and support to develop teachers and their capacity to undertake research and enquiry.
