Prestigious businesses to speak at event

09/10/2013

The day will be hosted by Innovation 1st, a project part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), in partnership with AVM Impact.

The event, to be held in the innovative Visualisation Centre at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park, will give a platform to the well-known technological companies to advise local businesses on how they could revolutionise the way they work using cost-effective technology.

The companies present at the event, including AMX, Polycom and Paradigm, all installed equipment into the Visualisation Centre where the session will be held.

The free event will take place on Wednesday 16 October between 8am-4pm, and will include complimentary breakfast and lunch, as well as the chance for visitors to take tours of the new Visualisation Centre.

There will be the opportunity for attendees to speak to the experts about how new technology can suit individual business needs, and how the Innovation 1st project can help their businesses.

Speaking about the event, Paul Burrow, Project Manager of Innovation 1st, said: “Innovation 1st is delighted to be welcoming these big names back to the Visualisation Centre so that they can demonstrate to businesses in the region the endless technological opportunities that are out there to enhance their workplace.”

The event will also feature a guest appearance from Richard Howells from Bronze Software Labs.

Richard will be talking about Bronze’s brand new “augmented reality” app, and giving an insight into the direction he sees augmented reality going in the future.
