Professional body extends to Hong Kong

06/11/2017

The University of Wolverhampton has officially welcomed representatives in Hong Kong to its professional construction and engineering body.

Dr Paul Hampton, Head of Architecture and Built Environment at the University, presented formal QSi accreditation to Hong Kong board members at a meeting recently.

QSi is the professional body specialising in the financial aspects of construction and engineering. The non-profit organisation has developed into an international establishment with members spanning the globe.

Dr Hampton said “It’s a real pleasure to see how the board are making great strides in reaching out to QSi members of all ages in Hong Kong.

“Former University of Wolverhampton Graduate and Turner Townsend Director, Rodney Moulder is making a real impact in addressing the challenges faced in the Hong Kong construction industry whilst working hard to develop the next generation of Built Environment professionals.”

Rodney Moulder, Managing Director in the South China office of Turner & Townsend Brechin, said: “I am pleased to accept the certificate on behalf of the board and look forward to working with the rest of the members to enhance and raise the profile of QSI in Hong Kong.”

QSi Hong Kong will shortly be hosting a ‘meet the board’ event at Turner Townsend offices in November and all current QSi members and potential members are invited to attend.
