Following numerous health problems, Lisa Cook underwent a double organ transplant.
During a 8-9 hour operation, she received a pancreas and kidney from her donor, a 17-year-old girl.
In this video, the Health Placements Administrator at the University of Wolverhampton explains the physical and emotional journey she has been on and how she feels about the many people who work for the NHS who were involved in saving her life.
