A prominent figure in the Black Country manufacturing industry has been honoured by the University of Wolverhampton.

An Honorary Fellowship was presented to Stuart Squire at a graduation ceremony on Friday, 21 September 2018.

The award was made in recognition of Stuart’s contribution to the University through the Institute of Directors and Business School mentoring scheme.

Stuart, who is an alumnus of the University, said: “I am honoured to receive this award. The mentoring scheme improves the students employability and I am proud to be part of it.”

Stuart spent the majority of his career working for specialist manufacturing company Static Systems Group Plc in the Black Country, supplying complex communication and alarm systems into the health sector both in the UK and overseas.
