Hutchison Library, Telford Campus – Extended Opening
We have listened to your feedback and you can now continue to use Hutchison Library during the evenings and weekends
We are pleased to be able to offer a trial period of Extended Access to Telford Campus Library. This is thanks to a collaboration between the University Library, Campus Security and Facilities. During Extended Access you will be able to access all of the library study spaces and facilities, including PCs, printers, 6-hour laptop loans and pick up any Click and Collect items that have been reserved.
Extended Access will start on Monday 21st November and run through Semester 2. The usage will be regularly monitored and exact opening hours may be adjusted based on demand. The initial opening hours for Hutchison Library will be:
|Supported by the Library team||Extended Access|
|Mon - Fri||08.30 - 5 pm||5 pm - Midnight|
|Sat - Sun||-||08.30 - Midnight|
During Extended Access periods, library staff will not be present, but there will be university staff on campus to monitor the space and students can raise any concerns via the SafeZone security app
Library support will remain available via our 24/7 Library Assist Service, where you can chat online with a librarian or alternatively call 01902 321333, to speak to a member of our team at City or Walsall campus during their opening hours.
Extended Access will be by ID card only and students will need to register in order for the access permissions to be added to their campus ID cards. For more information and to register for Extended Access, please visit https://www.wlv.ac.uk/lib/info/libraries/telford/
