Successful Joint Educational Programme visit to China

01/12/2017

University of Wolverhampton staff have recently returned from a visit to China to meet with partners.

The strategic visit was to two of the University’s important Chinese partners - Yulin University and Yunnan Agricultural University.

Both institutions form part of the Chinese Ministry of Education approved Joint Educational Programme scheme which sees academic staff deliver key aspects of the Chinese institutions’ awards.

The extended collaboration will also see Chinese students complete their final year as University of Wolverhampton students and the first intake is expected to be next September.

The visit was made by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Dr Anthea Gregory, Director of Recruitment and Partnerships John Kirk and International Partnerships and Programmes Manager Dominique Nield.

Dr Gregory said: “The visit served to consolidate the partnership with both Yunnan Agricultural University and Yulin University; and we look forward to welcoming the first cohort of International Programme students in Sept 2018.”
