Major manufacturing exhibition launched at Telford

The University of Wolverhampton hosted a high profile launch event at its Telford Innovation Campus - showcasing its investment in state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.

The Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) launched its manufacturing exhibition, MACH 2020, at the Campus, inviting trade press and key stakeholders to take a tour of the £10 million investment in engineering facilities.

The University has recently invested in advanced, new engineering facilities and enhanced courses in response to the regional and national shortage of qualified engineering graduates, focusing on providing students with access to technology at the forefront of engineering developments.

Facilities also include a High Value Manufacturing Suite, Composite Materials Lab, Wind Tunnel and Additive Manufacturing Suite.

As well as hosting the launch event, the University will have a presence in the new Training Zone at MACH 2020.
