Horizon

The sea is a contradiction for many, often regarded as a place for relaxation and leisure, but also a liminal space of hope, survival and death. Horizon is a 3D multimedia scenographic installation built on several levels that seeks to explore the issue of sea bound migration. The theme of fleeing across the sea has been of interest to Marinus since his first journey across the English Channel in 2018.
