This talk gives an insight into how to write a personal statement as part of the university application process. This includes hints and tips on what should be included within that statement such as skills, hobbies and experience.
This talk goes through how to apply to university covering the current UCAS application process. It will cover all the key areas such as significant dates and the stages to navigate to apply to higher education.
Learners will gather all the relevant information on how to finance their study. This will include how to apply and how the pay back structure within the higher education sector is implemented. Vital tips on how to maximise your budget as a university student will also be discussed.
In this session learners will be given guidelines on how to prepare for interviews and portfolio reviews during the university application process. It will give hints and tips on how to maximise the opportunity to support your application.

In this talk learners will gather an understanding of what it is like to specifically study at the University of Wolverhampton. It will look at what life is like for a student and the opportunities university can offer whilst studying and as an alumni.
Learners will receive information on the wide student support networks available at university. These support networks are in place to help make the transition to higher education seamless and guide you through your student journey.
This session gives an insight to parents and guardians on the importance of student support and where to find it within higher education. Information on how to access the wide student support networks will be discussed and why it is ok to ask. Specifically looking at mental health, disability and additional learning support needs.
This session can be booked as part of a HE evening or parents evening and is delivered to parents and guardians at the event.
We offer a drop-in session to our schools and colleges. Located in a prominent part of your building, pupils can drop-in and find out more about anything related to their application or choosing a course at the University of Wolverhampton.
We include interview and portfolio guidance, personal statement support, course selection support, application support, accommodation advice etc. Pupils will need to have applied or be considering applying to University of Wolverhampton to take part. Sessions can be booked for between 1-3hrs and are delivered by an experienced recruitment team staff member.

In this workshop, we will introduce effective searching techniques to help students locate quality resources for their work. We will also practise evaluating these resources, available through the internet.
