Student Update: Chaplaincy Advice During Ramadan

29/04/2020

The University of Wolverhampton Multi Faith Chaplaincy provides pastoral and spiritual support to students of all faiths and none, on and off campus.

Your Chaplains, Sarah Schofield, Shyam Singh and Abdul Hameed, are still available during lockdown to talk with students, either on the phone or via video chat.

The month of Ramadan has now begun; for students who are fasting we have two Ramadan Advisors, Chaplain Abdul and Academic Coach Ameena Khan. Please do not hesitate to email Abdul or Ameena with any questions that you have about your health, scheduling or other issues related to Ramadan. Even if you are simply missing the companionship of attending the mosque, they will be happy to talk.

Opportunities for students of other faiths, including weekly Christian prayer, bible study and updates from our Sikh Chaplain can also be found on the Chaplaincy Facebook page which is open access whether you are a Facebook member or not.
