Student carers drop-in clinic

If you are a student with caring responsibilities for an adult or child who has a health condition (including a physical illness, mental health issue, physical disability or learning disability) or substance misuse issue you may be interested in the following support that is being set up at the university:

Student carers drop-in clinic: Melinder Kaur, Information Officer, Carers Team, Wolverhampton City Council, will be providing a new advice clinic every 6 weeks at the Students Union Wolverhampton City Campus.  The first 2 dates are as follows:

Thursday 4th October 1-3pm in the SU. Ask at the reception for the room details

Thursday 15th November 1-3pm

Melinder will be able to provide you with emotional support and advice about the help that is available to carers and can make a referral for a carer's assessment with the local authority.
