Skills One-to-One Support
In line with government and university advice, we have suspended all face-to-face support for students. However, we’re still here to help you through our online service.
If you have an enquiry, please contact email@example.com and we will get back to you within one working day. All of our teaching and 1-2-1s will be held in Canvas; if you are a current student, you are automatically enrolled in our Canvas page. Here you can also find a range of resources for improving your academic skills.
Do you have a particular learning need? Before booking an appointment with us, we’d recommend you look over the Communication Services page. If you require a BSL interpreter, manual note-taker or other communication support service, please organise this prior to confirming an appointment time.
Our current working hours are as follows:
Monday-Friday - 8.30am-5pm (with some workshops up to 6.30pm)
Saturday - 10.30am-2pm
Please note that the Skills for Learning team cannot proofread work and cannot offer subject-specific advice. For further information about our support, please download our LS139 Skills for Learning drop in guidelines LS139 Skills for Learning drop in guidelines (Word doc 322k)If you cannot attend a drop-in during advertised hours, please fill out the online contact form to arrange a suitable time to access Skills for Learning support.
Should you be based off campus, you can contact us to book an appointment by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also ask us a question via Facebook or Twitter. More details can be found on our Contact Us page.
